Mr Trick's rhythm incursions show on the ever impressive Resonance fm is a real delight for anyone who loves their hiphop with a twist. From the leftfield work of the Anticon label through to the dubbed-out illbient of the Wordsound label, from DJ Spooky's sonic experimentation to Machine Drum's shattered beats, this is the show filling a musical gap on UK radio. In addition Trick runs the impeccably high quality output of the Needlework imprint who's 2Tall and Waxfactor releases have impressed music fans on both sides of the Atlantic.
Supporting Trick will be DJ Central who is a regular performer at the Lex records showcases in London. expect a thick slice of funk with the beats as tom run's two excellent nights in lock 17 (lock tones) and at ruby low (keep up).

June sees a DJ performance from Theodore whose debut LP "A summer she has never been, a winter she fears" (Lo Recordings) was one of this year's most acclaimed debuts. Using a delicate blend of electronic and natural sounds Theodore conjures a world of his own where nothing is quite what it seems.

Supporting Theodore will be XFM's Nick Luscombe who has risen to prominence over the last few years with his influential Flo-motion radio show on XFM. Expect a leftfield mix of electronica, Japanese beats and Jazz from this world renowned DJ.

John's performance at Default will be the debut in duo format with fellow Australian sonic traveller Matt Nicholson of the Function Ensemble.
